If you’ve got questions, I (mostly) have answers. It’s easiest to get me through the studio’s Facebook page or you can always text me. My phone number is both on the front of the brochure and the front of the building. Also: 417-229-0231. You can email me at [email protected] as well.
F.A.Q
1. What does my dancer need for class?
*For combination dance classes dancers need ballet shoes, tap shoes, leotard and tights.
*For tumbling classes dancers need a leotard, shorts and bare feet, so footless or convertible tights are recommended.
*For hip hop classes dancers need athletic shorts or sweat pants, a t shirt and tennis shoes
*For Wiggles and Giggles, dancers and mommies need clothes they can move in.
*Competition company classes have a dress code, they should see the Company Handbook for details
Dancers should not come to dance in jeans or non dance pants. Dancers should always come to class with their hair all the way up off of neck and out of face.
2. When do I pay? What do I pay?
Classes are $40 per month for your first class. Multiple class discounts are available and sibling discounts are available.
Your dance fees are due the first scheduled class of each month. Please use the envelopes provided and drop your money in the lock box on the counter. We also have PayPal and CashApp if you prefer. Dance fees are paid by the month only, with the exception of Wiggles and Giggles which can be by the week. Gotta Dance Studio can take credit cards, just look for Mr. Tim and he can take care if that for you.
3. Should I stay or should I go?
Completely up to you! You can observe class from the waiting room, or you can drop off and pick up. You know what your dancer will be comfortable with.
4. Where is Studio 2? Where is the bathroom? What in the world is a tumbling room?
Studio 2 is the center room down the stairs, directly across from the stairway. The tumbling room is to the left of that room. It has a blue cheer floor--very fancy for tumbling on. The girls’ locker room is down the stairs and all the way to the left. This is where dancers can change and use the restroom. The boys’ locker room is all the way to the right. Also to the right is the racquet ball court. You can see the clipboard outside of the racquet ball about scheduling some racquetball court time. See Miss Sarah for cost of court time.
